About The Pink Awards
The 6th Annual Pink Awards is an iconic event that brings breast cancer awareness and black excellence to the center stage. During this event, premiere influencers, celebrities and wellness advocates come together to celebrate life, strength and survival.
Five years ago, April Love incorporated the Pink Awards ceremony to celebrate and honor the accomplishments of individuals who are a positive force within their respective industries and surrounding communities. The award categories are tailored to those who have exemplified visionary ideals, excelled in entrepreneurial endeavors, made a difference in society, and have changed the trajectory of their respective fields.
Special guest performances, signature cocktails, and exclusive gifting courtesy of our sponsors are some of the highlights as we pay homage to those impacted by breast cancer. Each holiday season, a portion of the Pink Award's proceeds goes towards supporting survivors in need.

MISSION
Six years ago, founder April Love incorporated the Pink Awards ceremony to celebrate and honor the accomplishments of individuals who are a positive force within their respective industries and surrounding communities. The award categories are tailored to those who have exemplified visionary ideals, excelled in entrepreneurial endeavors, made a difference in society, and have changed the trajectory of their respective fields.
December 2009, April Love was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer, changing her life drastically. She was informed on Christmas Eve of that year that she had Stage 3 ductal carcinoma breast cancer. Today, she is blessed to be a 12-year survivor and uses her testimony to bring awareness and shine a light on this devastating life-threatening disease.
